I invited Lin and Judy for tea today. Unfortunately Judy was ill and didn't get to take a bite of this chocolate cake

Hi Janny,
I grow my own potato leaves here from cuttings given by relatives! They are sooooo easy to grow and in summer they can get out of control if I don't pick them fast enough. They tend to be dormant in winter, just let them be and in spring/summer time they will come alive again.
See if you can get some from the Vietnamese shops, you can cook the leafy bits and stick the rest in your garden bed. A friend says that it's better to plant them in pots; easier to control that way as they do grow rampantly in the garden, taking over everything else.

Well, the cuttings that were given to me are sweet potato's. I used to think that they were grown from spud but apparently not so. But I think overtime you will get sweet potatoes underneath....
Try growing them from cuttings in pots on your balcony... you will be surprised by how easy it is..... ;D

Mee Hoon Kueh is like home make noodle. soup base: ikan ibils + soya bean + I used chicken stock. Garnish with egg, fried ikan ibilis and baby chai sim. I am cooking mee hoon kueh for dinner tonight. Hubby suggested this actually. He wanted to involve in the cooking but like something simple and nice as a Sunday dinner

Hi Min,
Will meet asap probably next week? I will yahoo you. As for the cuttings, will probably need to wait till spring can? coz they are kind of botak at the moment, I've had to cut them back and now autumn/winter is approaching, they aren't growing as fast. They are dormant in winter. But don't worry, they grow like wild fire in spring/summer and I will definitely save you some then. ;D
