Yea, QLD is a lonely place leh...i see a lot of SGPreans in Sydney, Mel, even Perth! How long have you been in Melbourne? I have just been here almost 5months, and i'm homesick!
I dun really have friends and the only family is my hubby and his family. (We used to stay with his parents, but moved out 1.5months ago into our own rented apartment.)

I live about 45mins drive from Gold Coast, near the city actually.

Yea, i must admit the weather here is quite ok, no freak weathers here like cycclones and all that. There are imported fruits like lychees and mangosteens, but they are not that nice and fresh, and cost like $12 a kilo! too ex for me leh...i miss the $2/kg of lychees from Singapore!
So how long u been in Mel and are you liking it there?
Do you have daylight savings there?

Huh! That's really expensive. My parents in law love durians, but can't get decent ones here...
I am in the sales and marketing field. I didn't come with an in-demand occupation. I married an aussie. he's ABC though... What aboout yrself? I'm still experiencing culture shock...
