Vic Tell us what you think of your breadmachine after you try it, OK? I must go to breville depot to get the normal paddle to try making kaya. Lost it since I only use my collapsible one, and never thought of keeping it properly since I thought jam is soooo cheap it doesn't make sense to make my own.
Today I bake this for breaky with a cup of coffee. Nice to sip hot coffee listening to the rain while typing away on the computer
sure janny , will let u know when my bread is edible hor... ;D
wah...ur peach galette looked so nice leh....can share share recipe or not
Finally....it was sufficiently 'hard' for me to successfully achieve this. My first attempt following a totally different recipe from a book (using agar2 powder) was a total disaster - had to throw it out because it was too 'watery' (sigh...grumble, grumble...).
er...taste wise only so-so. But looks pretty right?? ;D

Vic, Your breadmachine is a value for money. I wanted to get a Bluesky too but out of stock at Carrefour End up buying Takada which cost RM300. Geramnya!
I tried this last night.....baked curry puffs. The spiral method and deep-fried are definitely much much nicer as it is much crisper. One thing I realised is that if the filling is yummy, it will make up for the so-so pastry!!! ;D
