Ban for non-contributors

There has been some unpleasant 'rumours' going around about banning of non-active members.......not sure in which forum but definately not here.
Does members HAVE TO contribute receipes ?
There must be many members who are supporters but can't contribute due to one reason or another.

Please clarify 'your rules' here as you 'dictate' here.

that was the real thing in one of the forums in which we both are members too.
here we don't have rules. come on lah... everyone is responsible for his/her own action eh?
if you think you like people to do this and that to you, then do it. if you don't think it is appropriate then done.
as simple as that.
anybody is free to post anything, free to just browse also. since i also don't pay a cent to have this forum set up, i am not fussy ;D

Yeah, I agree with Jan. Jan and I too don't pay a single cent for this forum.

I personally find that everybody has the choice to do whatever they want to as long as it doesn't affect other people's freedom to choose what they want to do too. Some members may be more outspoken while others like to contribute silently by just reading the messages. They may feel shy or whatever for not posting.

Anyway, this is my own opinion. Maybe for hosts who need to pay to run their forums, they have different reasons to tell......

i am a learner rather than a contributor.

shld i copy any one of your recipe and not credit you, you know that i don't mean harm. afterall, i only use it for domestic purpose and not commercial.

its pretty obvious. the rules i have set up at my board was since day 1. not recently only. i find that many people don't read the rules.

I have my own reasons to do what I see was right. Just like each and everyone here has their own.

if you are unhappy with my rules at KC, pls write to me than to gossip behind my back. Its unethnical.

as far as i know, don was saying there was a rumour going around. i don't think that constitutes her spreading rumour, do you?
anyway, as we all know, it was not a rumour (i.e. unfounded gossip). it was true. as you admitted yourself it was one of your rules.
