What is the difference of chocolate ganache; chocolate frosting and chocolate topping? To me it's chocolate topping when I made my first chocolate sponge cake. It turns out 'shining' even though I did level it several times. ;D I am not very sure either, Lynda. I think topping is a general term for sauce/ingredients you put on top of your food. Like chocolate topping on ice creams, pizza topping etc. So far, most ganache recipes I saw could be simply just melted chocolate with some cream. Chocolate frosting usually has sugar added. Am I right, Jo or Lily?
