Hi
A tip to get shiny cutlery that's stainless steel:
Fill a deep container (the length of the cutlery) with diluted lemon juice. Dip the cutlery & rub any stains with a steel-wool pad. Then dry, using a soft cloth for a sparkly finish.

min, i wonder if the steel wool might leave scratch mark on the cutlery? i have a stainless steel mixing bowl that is full of scratches

Janny, today i tried the diluted lemon juice using those green colour sponge. I washed it gently on my kettle and it kind of works! Did not see any scratch marks. If you are worried, maybe try using softer sponge.
