A recent American study into weight loss found that sleeping-in could help people lose weight. This is because of the chemical leptin, which can suppress the production of fat cells that is released during sleep.
The study revealed that people who have very little sleep (e.g., night workers) can be at a greater risk of obesity.
Now you can have an excuse to sleep more. ;D

Oh dear, I never get to sleep in since my baby was born! Looks like I am going to be really overweight for the next 10 years!!!
