Scientists have found that 7-year-olds whose mothers took paracetamol everyday during the 2nd half of their pregnancies were 60% more likely to suffer from asthma. It was also found that adults who took the painkiller everyday were twice as likely to develop asthma. Doctors, however, urged pregnant women who have taken paracetamal not to worry. Taking it now and then will not do any harm to the mother and her baby.
