I tried hugbear's American Choc Cake. If anyone tires it, make sure u use at least 1.5x of the recipe or double it, otherwise will be slightly flat....like mine!!! Taste nice. Hi Kirsten Can share the recipe with us? I love chocolate cakes.

Beans are really bad, Nora. Must prepare with the constant gas bomb ;D ;D ;D Can your DH take potato? Cubed the potato and add together with the celery and carrot. I think that should work.

I also don't know what it is. I made it using a packaged mix. The label said Lemak Laksa. But the ingredients to use include Sardine and those other stuff like onion and cucumber that usually go with Penang Laksa. And another strange thing, to put lemon juice in it to make it sourish ;D I was expecting Penang Laksa though, so kinda disappointed. Edit: Forgot to answer Ching. Yes, it has coconut milk. Lemak Laksa!! So, there is such a thing!! I asked because a lady who used to live in Penang told me she cooks fabulous Penang laksa (straight away I assume assam laksa), then she started to describe it has coconut milk, shrimp, pineapple, onion and cucumber as some of the garnishes and I was completely lost. Now I know, it's just that I have never tasted it before.

laksa johor is made with fish, dried prawns and it is lemak too. have to make it one day, the best thing is the noodle is spagetti.
laksa kelantan has also fish and lemak, no curry spices and it is white. noodle is lai fun and if they make their own which is like chee cheong fun, it is called laksum. we must get pat or nina to make for us.

Hi Nora If I am not mistaken, this is the first time you post picture. And so many pictures, too. Congratulation. I especially like the look of your cheese and onion bread. My weekend cooking: Indian meal for Friday Dinner consists of spiced rice, butter chicken, cucumber raita and pappadams. I also made Jade Pearl's Naan to eat with the dinner. Thanks Jade Pearls. This recipe is definitely a keeper.
