Hubby is overseas.... Pretty free this weekend except meeting up with kirsten and Sheereen, and also did some shopping too. I made these butter rolls (with tuna mayo filling) yesterday. Made 15 of them and gave almost all away except 3 for myself. I know I will have plenty of time to bake these few days. Don't want to keep some many food in my fridge .

lily, egg yolk with water will be shinier. I don't usually take the yolk only as I don't know how to use the leftover white. I just glazed with beaten whole egg. No water added. Glaze once before baking and once after baking

better used it to check. Remember to keep the receipt too. coz my friend bought one and it didn't work. And she kept thinking it was becoz she was not a good baker. but I told her that the machine is automated..it either work or not.
she had it changed for a new one..

Vic Tell us what you think of your breadmachine after you try it, OK? I must go to breville depot to get the normal paddle to try making kaya. Lost it since I only use my collapsible one, and never thought of keeping it properly since I thought jam is soooo cheap it doesn't make sense to make my own. Today I bake this for breaky with a cup of coffee. Nice to sip hot coffee listening to the rain while typing away on the computer
